Melanie is a nice and a cheerful girl. She likes Ryan Flynn and his company. When it comes to getting dusted, Melanie will heavily disliked it. When she said "It's called getting dusted. You see, when you decide to make the leap, you only get one chance to fly. So either you make it and move on, or get dusted and go back home." it implies that she wants to stay and move on rather than going back home.
At the end of the movie when Ryan Flynn came back to the real world from the fantastical realm, Melanie Lewis was seen, it might mean she got dusted and went back home.
Appearance[]
Melanie is shown to have long curly blonde hair, green eyes and pale skin. When she was first shown in the film, she wears a yellow beret, brown long jacket with yellow shirt, yellow scarf and dark brown skirt underneath with figure skates. She is usually seen without her yellow beret and her figure skates replaced with white boots and yellow socks underneath. In the scene where she was kidnapped by the Ringmaster, she's shown with the same clothes but with her yellow scarf replaced with a black scarf and she was also wearing a black top hat at that time showing she was being controlled by the Ringmaster. At the end of the film after Ryan Flynn came back from the fantastical realm, Melanie was shown wearing a red hat covering her long curly hair and a red-white-black jacket with a pink shirt underneath and with jeans.
